Procedure:
- Blood test, pre-anesthetic consultation and pre-surgical mammography required
- Hospitalization: 24 hours (1 night post-surgery)

- Pain: light if the Prosthesis is placed behind the muscle, no pain if it is placed in front of the muscle
- Post surgery care: removal of bandage 4-5 days after surgery - requires wearing a bra day and night for 2 months

Prosthesis implant allows to correct the volume of the breast deemed insufficient.
Available choices:

Procedure:

- Procedure duration: 2h 30 min to 3h 30 min according to the technique

- Pain: moderate and quickly disappear
- Post surgery care: 15 days to 3 weeks for scars - requires wearing a bra day and night for 2 months
- Resuming activity: 10 - 15 days
This surgical intervention aims at reducing the volume of the breasts by removing excess glandular tissue. Excess skin should be removed causing some scars.
These scars have the following forms:
- An inverted T incision (in case of hypertrophy or large pendulous breasts) with three components:
- Periareolar around the areola between the brown and the white skin
- Vertical, between the lower pole of the areola and submammal line
- Horizontal and hidden under the submammal line
- A “vertical” incision (in case the hypertrophy and the ptosis are moderate)

The surgery consists in contouring a sagging breast by tightening the surrounding tissue and glandular tissues.
